ABOUT THE AUTHOR

DR.KAMBASKA KUMAR BEHERA (Ph.D., DBT-POST.DOC.) is a distinguished academician and researcher, published 75 research papers and five books of international and national repute. Born in Odisha, Dr. Behera has studied in Utkal University for his M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees and owned the distinction of DBT-Post Doctoral Fellowship.He has worked on different research capacity in various National Research Institute of India viz. CSIR,ICAR and NIT and presently working as Assistant Professor at Banasthali University Rajasthan,India. Throughout his research career Dr.Behera has been working in multi-disiplinary field of applied Biotechnology mainly focusing his research on applied area of Biotechnology including Tissue culture of medicinal and important crop plants, Agro-horticultural practices of tuber crops and eco-physiology of waterlogged plant in coastal environment for evapo-transpiration study. His research interest and contribution on recent development of biotechnological principle for human welfare has been appreciated at international level. He has been extending his services as honorary reviewer of many national and international research journals. Notulae Botanicae Horti Agrobotanici Cluj-Napoca, Romania a journal of international repute in plant sciences has recognized him as a certified reviewer. Several Research Papers of Dr. Behera are also indexed in the Library of different State Universities of USA and draws attention of students, researchers and Biotechnologists.
