About the Authors
Dr.R.S.Jiji has been working in the field of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry
Extension Education and research for the last 15 years, co-authored two other
text books and has contributed research articles in national and international
journals. Intellectual Property Rights is her special area of interest and she
has been the course teacher for the e-course on IPR for the veterinary post
graduate and doctoral students for the last three years.
Dr.P.J.RajKamal has been doing research and extension education work in the
field of Veterinary and Animal Sciences for more than 25 years and has published
several research articles in both national and international journals. He has
also co-authored three other text books. He has special interest in undertaking
studies on indigenous technical knowledge systems.
About the Book
The major purpose of this book is to provide the readers an insight into the
concept of IPR and its applications in the livestock sector. However, the implicit
issues and challenges in the IPR enforcement and the strategic imperatives imminent
in the sector have also been discussed in some depth.
