In designing the content of this book we have follow the policy of placing emphasis on the needs and recommendations we have received from students, colleagues and academics outside our university. The present book is primarily designed for the use of UG, PG students, teachers and researches in agriculture and life sciences. This book mainly divided into six sections. An initiative has been made to include protocols to be used with details of various experiments relayed to various plants such as cereals, pulses, oil seeds, vegetables, fruits, medicinal etc. The present book “Biochemical techniques in your hand” includes the basic knowledge and with a total techniques besides appendices and subject index. Although there are quite a number of books and journal available, the laboratory techniques are found scattered here and there hence, it is laborious and time consulting for the student and research scholars so as to search for desirable analytical methods. Obviously there is a need for such book which could provide most of the information at one place.
